I've got a RIX Smalltown USA, Parcel Delivery Service building, some Atlas Passenger platform extensions, and a box of "spare" parts. Add one Signal Tower kit, and I guess I'm ready for the challenge.

Doomed!?, I think not. I have always looked to the works of others, far better than I could do, as inspiration. I still do. I believe, if it can be done by others, then with time and effort, it can be done by me. My greatest fear is that someday I might reach a point where I can no longer find inspiration.

When I kitbash, I like to temporarily assemble (rubberband together) the components, and try different combinations. This is what I've come up with.

The roof is part of an Atlas passenger platform extension.

Ah, ok. Close match for the signal tower roof, isn't it!

Many of the Atlas structure kits have that style roof. They are virtually identical in shingle pattern, just differ in shape, and size.

I've finally come up with what the building will be...a Builders Custom Hardware Supply. The Upper part of the tower will be a small showroom for the custom door knobs/handles, kickplates, outlet covers,cabinet handles etc.
