Ottertail Vally yard

I'm glad to see that photo of the old caboose. I have a few models like that but haven't seen a prototype photo of that style until now.

UGLY????

Dirty, funky, trashed, thrashed, beat, rusty, corroded, grimy, greasy, black, sooty, tagged cars are what railroading *is*. How much more boring those cars would be clean!

No doubt they're all living in a fantasy world with Pepsi and Hershey reefers running behind Tyco "Spirit of '76" Alcos.

What are Brian? Are you referring to my model cabooses? If so, then no, they came in Pennsy livery and follow black open hoppers and and Pennsy SD9s.

No, I'm referring to the thought that all railroads are first and foremost objects of photography and secondly operating businesses.
