Dave, stuctures like that with different shaped but joined buildings, roof styles and colours just eggs me on to do more "scratchin".

On the subject of windows I've used a draughtsman's pen to simply paint the frames onto acetate sheet, (just for the sake of getting different pane styles).

Dang it! When I retired I should have brought home my business card wallet... I left so much "material" in the office! :( :(

My wife showed me a business card from a kitchen cabinet place (I think). Anyway, it was made of real wood. On the back it said it was 1-ply something or another. Very fine-grained, pretty wood, and if it was thicker than a normal business card it wasn't by much.
