    Water Effects

    Hey Bill, I have been reading up on this stuff. The water effects are for waterfalls and rapids the realistic water is for calm rivers and lakes, they are to be used together. Woodland Scenics came up with this to replace there EZ Water pellets that would melt any foam or plastic in site.:eek:

    Also if you are recycling the water, even if its moving its gonna turn green. There is a chemical they put fish tanks to keep them from going green but I don't know what it will do to paint?:eek:

    logo Thanks Mike, I haven't been back to this thread for awhile. I like the logo, I'll have to draw out mine for you and post it. Its a little more old fashion since I amm mainly into steam. Its basicly a H with the V layed on top, set into a sheild with a drawing of heather in the background.:eek:

    Hey Tyson, You still got that steamer? I just rebuilt one like that about two weeks ago. It was an 060 made by Mantua I bought it new in 1969. Alittle grease and oil, some new paint, general cleaning and its good as new!:eek:

    Hey Robin, I didn't realize that was La Grange Ill. plant. I almost severed my tool maker apprenticeship there about 30 yrs. ago. Except you had to know someone that worked there or that was in the union to get in. I lived not two miles from there!!:eek:
