    Layout Plan=Conrail 1979 PENN/NY line.

I thought the closest the TH & B got to Buffalo was an interchange with the CASO at Welland??? Interesting concept though. How long are the yard tracks? They appear to be a bit on the short side.

Railway and Forestry museum. B. C

I was unaware there was a RR museum in Prince George. I'll have to talk the family into stopping in (won't be too hard :) )on our next trip through in a few years.

The Tillsonburgh Elactric Car Company. Ontario

Thanks for sharing Chris. I believe that part of the building (with the round roof) is still visible today as part of a packaging company. Still receives rail service too. :)

    ooops

48-50 Ford. Sigh. Nobody makes a 51/52 in ANY scale. IMO, it's the most beautiful year, but I'm biased because my dad is restoring a 51.

Anyone familiar with the OAPS ?

From the Doubleheaders tour guide: "The Ottawa, Arnprior & Parry Sound Rwy represents the Canada Atlantic Western Division as it was in 1922 as Grand Trunk was merging with CNR. Depot Harbour, port and town site, are modeled as the prototype scene. It is fully scenicked with grain elevator, coal...

Anyone familiar with the OAPS ?

Picture 3 could have been just a generic town on the layout, but judging by the research into the rest of the layout that wouldn't jive with his theme. I'll see if I can dig up the Doubleheaders tour guide from the spring, I believe they had the phone numbers there.

    Docu-Drama-The National Dream (Canadian)

It's actually 2 books, The National Dream and The Last Spike. Good reading if you have the time. My dad has a condensed version where they combined the 2 books, and it has a bunch of pictures from the CBC special.

Anyone familiar with the OAPS ?

Here's a few pics of an OAPS layout I visited in the spring. It appears he has done quite a bit of research judging by the pictures and sketches he had scattered around the layout. http://www.the-gauge.com/showpost.php?p=192332&postcount=9

    A question of terminology...?

Getting technical here, but CN being a government owned entity at that time wouldn't have the authority to cut passenger service in a remote area, would they? I know that in this area in the 30's they abandoned several tracks in this area, but that was a duplication in access, without cutting...
