Here's another tip that would make a great difference, even a monopod or a cheap tripod would stabilise the images greatly. You track some of the trains very well but handheld work (especially with small camera's) is very difficult as they are so light that the slightest movement is really...

Thanks.. You seem to have managed to put a whole lot in without making it looked cramped. I have around 11x10 and it seems to be more compressed, but that may just be my lousy lighting and a ceiling that's only 1/2" higher than my head! Graham

the little saddle splices are really easy to use, I've gone back to splicing and soldering just because it was cheaper than buying the little boxes.

That is a beautiful piece of work, there's something amazing about model electrics. The same way you watch the valve gear on a Steamer, you can watch the pantograph follow the wire on this baby.. Truly inspirational.. Graham
