Here is a picture of both cars, see I somehow messed up the paint job on the first one (the pickup truck)

    Finished my first Jordan kit.

Well actually it's my second attempt, the first one didn't turn out too well, but this one I'm happy with.

    Old Danish steamer.

Hey thanks for the link Jon, they have this little locomotive there too http://www.jernbanen.dk/damp_solo.asp?LokID=369. Seems like it was in service until '74 and then donated the museum. I wonder if Fleischmann or another European maker makes something that can easily be bashed into...

I give up (painting tiny vehicles)

This one was painted using gray primer and some light blue spray paint I bought at Pep Boys today. It's so much more convenient to use spray paint than using the airbrush (if you can find the color you want), no cleaning of airbrush or paint bottle, no mixing paint, no waiting 24 hours between...

    Old Danish steamer.

Hope you don't mind. I was looking at pictures from my 2003 trip back to Denmark, and thought I would post a few pictures I took of an old steamer at the Danish Railway Museum.

    Frist ROUGH draft of plan

I just happen to have RTS5.0 installed (but have never used it), and I can see that in the "Save As" dialog you can save as *.bmp. So save it as a bitmap, open MS paint open you bmp file and save it as *.jpg. Or if you have some photo sw it might be able to do the conversion for you. Not sure if...

Thanks for the all the info. Actually I knew about that trick to get nice sharp lines, I just forgot  ... I'm currently working on 2 Jordan kits and this time I used grey Krylon primer, so let's see how they come out. I will post a picture now matter what. I'm thinking of painting one...

Too many sub forums at the top level?.

Would it be possible to somehow hide sub forums from the top level?, I just noticed that now we have upcoming event, id badges and 'face behind the name' sub forums all showing up at the top level. Am I the only one who thinks we are getting too many 'sub' forums at the top level? Jesper

I give up (painting tiny vehicles)

and this close-up of the beige car shows where the paint has lifted a bit. It's weird that it's there and on the back, the rest of the paint looks ok. I can't decide if I should strip the paint from the blue and beige car and try again, or if I should just finish them, and just make sure to...

I give up (painting tiny vehicles)

Some time ago (after the backup and before the crash) I posted a question about how to paint those tiny Williams Bros HO vehicles, as I had a problem with the paint kind of peeling when painting the second color (white) on top of the base color (blur). Well, after some searching, I got to the...

    Warped Roof Questions!

I think you would have to add some 1/4x1/4 wood strips for bracing on each side of the roof, then add the shingles (on the other side of course), then put them under your pile of heavy books until dry. At least that's what I would do, not sure if it's the best way or not. Jesper
