Train Detection?

What is the best train detection cuircit on the market? I want to use IR (Infra Red). I want it to be small and easy to use.

Any Ideas?

If I decided to do signaling or whatever on my layout, I was gonna go with CTI Electronics with their IR & Circuit detection sensors.
