There she is....there she is...not so wounded as we were lead to believe.

The rim isn't inset from the studio model, it looks like that was the solution used by whoever built that one. I don't want to do that so I'm canning this project and moving on to something bigger....

This could be easily fixed by printing out a circular piece and placing a gluing strips (also circular, underneath), the the fixing ring, you would cut back to the first panel line, then glue in the necessary pieces, and when you cut that line, cut on the line, inside the line, or outside the line, but only choose one, not all three!! It should be fixed, then uploaded here. That's more than a 10% fix. :)

I'm still not happy with the outcomes, I tried the "inner ring and cover" solution but it still didn't work. I had already adjusted the rim to align with the upper section only to find that the lower section does not align with the rim and upper section. I think it's just a poorly designed template that (for me) is more frustrating than enjoyable.
