RGM-96X Jesta, Mobile Suit Gundam, Hi Grade kit in 1/144th by Bandai

Next project on the bench, chosen by the Grand-son is the RGM-96X Jesta Special Operations Mobile Suit.

This is a Hi Grade kit by Bandai, and is in 1/144th scale.

Cunstruction starts with the torso,

I'm using my alcohol based art markers to detail the pieces as I assemble it.

after a six month hiatus, and a Covid diagnosis in his household, my Grandson, Hunter, was able to come spend 5 hours with me yesterday, and we finished construction of the base frame of this gundam.

I was given permission by the grandkid to finish this one for him, so I sat down and did the final systems integration, coloration and marking.

Thanks to the both of you, he did a lot of the grunt work, but I did the decorations from the start. not bad for a 7 year old.
