So I have been a bit distracted lately... Between kids activities and the gaming table (and getting back intothe gym post injury...) I still managed some painting.

Looking good!

Are those Delta yellow paints any better than the citadel ones? I needed to paint some radioactive waste barrels, and realized for the fist time how bad my yellow paints are. T_T

Sadly, no. Same methods you need to use for the yellow Citadel paints apply here, and really with any acrylic yellow paint (and quite a few enamels if I remember my experience with the Testor paints as a kid...). Whatever pigments we use for yellow are just so translucent, you need that light colored base (in this case Ivory) and then successive layering. I ended up mixing the yellow and white. Some yellow pigments will not lighten at all when mixed with white, but they will become less translucent as the white provides a more pigment to cover up the surface below and not impact the yellow pigment (much).

That's a serious work bench. I no longer can have one. Maybe when I am done finishing the back room that the tree came through. I have finished the roof, so 80% there!! :)

Got some more painting done on the lower body tonight. Nothing too earthshakingly great. Though, on the game table, I'm hoping this giant is earth shaking! Most likely when he falls because that is how my dice roll!

Narthak is COMPLETE!

Had to throw in a picture of him with some of his counterparts/foes on the Fantasy battlefield and dungeon... One of my bigger 28mm figures. But then, he still towers over 1:35/54mm scale figures too!
