Exhaust system is assembled
Also finished signal lights and front machine gun
Everything is put in its place
Spare wheels holders are made from scratch
Tubes, that connect exhausts to engine, are made of wire with isolation

I got to final stage - turret

Thanks Zathros. Sadly, second degree studies took all my time and I didn't progress much for past year. But its over now and I'm back to business!

The work continues with turret assembling.
Joining outer skin and base of a turret included a lot of measuring and cutting, but eventually parts connected
You need to pay attention gluing visors with two black holes up and also to check that turret ring enters freely but not too much into the frame hole
The base of a barrel sits on axis and turns up and down

Barrel assembled
Inside was painted with black
I also inserted some weight inside, to balance it on horizontal axes
You can move it up and down

Final stage!
Had a lot of trouble with doors axes, but it was my choice to make them movable. And eventually I did

Attached turret floor and socked floor supports with super glue for strength.
Assembled rear turret box and attached it to the turret
I was in luck it doesn't touch motor compartment doors
Turret finished!

Attached links strip to the front, water canister to the left, towing cable to the rear and most important - bucket! To the bottom...

The model is finished, but there are left some more canisters, helmets and few boxes. I'll assemble them later and will do final photo session

A little update
Made all the levers and pedals. Also assembled ammunition boxes

That looks great! and so clean! I would have glue everywhere. I was thinking of getting the Halinski Tiger I but its a bit expensive. I am scared of doing all those track links

I've already biuld Tiger 1 from Halinski. Great model with all interior parts. Yes. links in every tank are scary story. In this particular one you have the addition of scary wheels... too much )
All Halinski models are expencive, but very detailed and the new ones are on a high level of print and assembling

The painting is on the level in GPM models. They were the first to try computer effects and completed models look astonishing.
On the other hand, Halinski also uses effects printing in latest models.
I didn't assembled newer models from GPM, but oldest ones easy to assemble overall. Here and there you can feel, that designer didn't think about the modelist and some parts are difficult to work with. But it's smallest part from whole model.
Halinski... Well,there is no argue that their models are the top of the top in details and thinking about the assembler. Everything is designed to make model with joy and comfort. Even older models

Well, it's done!
Despite difficult period that included hard studies for M.B.A, i finished the model... Took only two and a half years

I've enjoyed every moment I assembled it and I want to thank everyone who watched my thread all this time

Boy, I bet the Tank museum ( yes, we have a Tank Museum) would go nuts for a model like that.

Just out of curiosity, I don't know where you live, but in the U.S., I cannot find any models. If I do, they are only a couple. I know of no distributor, and to order one from Halinski, and pay all that postage, well economically, I'd rather spend the money on my M.G. or motorcycle!

Are you getting these models in or out of the U.S.? I would love to find a trustworthy place to buy some good models, at somewhat reasonable prices.

This is one of the nicest Tank model builds I have ever seen. It is so clean, amazing.

I live in Israel and here we don't have any model shops or distributors at all.
All my models I got from outside of Israel, by any means - some I got with friends from Europe and the most part of my collection I ordered through Russian online shops (I know Russian). They have the largest shopping base of paper models and tools.
