This is the Old Town Garage, designed in 1/64 scale especially for diecast collectors and diorama builders.
The model represents a small American wooden garage inspired by rural service stations and repair shops commonly seen between the 1930s and 1950s. Besides the main building, I also included several extra accessories to help create a more complete scene, such as vintage oil drums, wooden crates, fences and small details spread around the garage.
One of the things I tried to do with this project was create something detailed enough to look good in photos and displays, but still simple and enjoyable to build. The textures were made to give the impression of aged wood, worn paint and a slightly weathered environment without making assembly too complicated.
The complete model comes in an eight-page PDF. Six pages contain the parts and accessories, while the other two are cover pages with photos of the assembled model for reference.
It fits very well with Hot Wheels, Matchbox and other 1/64 scale vehicles and the download is free, as always.
