New Progress on the ACT RR

Here are some Pics of my progress on the Kachina Station platform and parking lot. I have to stripe the lot tomorrow and start putting out cars and people , baggage carts and etc.

I'll be using a french curve and a flexible ruler and colored pencils.

That looks great. I really like the chain-link fences.

Just wait 'til the tourists show up and mess up your pretty lawns with newspapers, soda cans and other trash.

Mike that looks great. Any chance of getting you to post a few closeups of the station, it looks fantastic. Is it scratchbuilt as it looks so prototypical of the area? I was in Albuquerque and Santa Fe last year at a Navy reuion and being a staunch "New Englander" I admit to being charmed by the area.

Your grounds crew sure do some fine work...
ain't ever scene a lot that sharp, 'cept after a fresh tarring and striping.
Then again... small towns tend to do that and it takes longer for things to dirty.
