In fact no nearby hobby store sells it. I am currently using atlas code 55, but I hear how great peco switches are. Is it compatable in heigth and appearance? Should I stick with atlas code 55 switches? Thanks.

ATLAS and PECO code 55 are not height compatible.PECO code 55 is actually .080 tall with .025 of the rail buried in the ties.This is why it is damn near bulletproof.

We have it by the ton up here. Catt is right about the rail height; you would need the usuall code 55-code 80 joiner to connect to your usual rail.
