My space models

Very nice collection you have going on here. On Sputnik, those 4 STABILIZING RODS made it onto Russian Jet Aircraft Ejection seats, and Russia made some of the best ejection seats in the world well, the CCCP did, lots of talent in those Warsaw pact countries . (As the saying goes, "the parts are greater than the whole".) ;)

The Sojuz and Progress capsules are another prime example. They are the sharks of modern tech, developed centuries ago but they work and work and work... :)

The Boeing X-37 is an experimental unmanned space shuttle designed to test new technologies in orbit and re-enter the atmosphere.
An X-37 first flew during a drop test in 2006; its first orbital mission was launched in April 2010 on an Atlas V rocket, and returned to Earth in December 2010. Subsequent flights gradually extended the mission duration, reaching 780 days in orbit for the fifth mission, the first to launch on a Falcon 9 rocket. The sixth mission launched on an Atlas V on 17 May 2020 and concluded on 12 November 2022, reaching a total of 908 days in orbit.[3] The seventh mission launched on 28 December 2023 on a Falcon Heavy rocket, entering a highly elliptical high Earth orbit. I am continuing the series of space shuttle models. This model is also from Canon's website. the shuttle itself is built without modifications, part of the model also includes a part of the rocket capsule in which the shuttle is launched into space and I modified it - from the outside I added an outer shell and inside I added panels that were only drawn there and I also modified the base a little.

This space shutle is mainly used for military purposes, since it has the logo of the DARPA organization on it, so the shark look is also suitable for it... ;)
...one more note, if someone, like me, wants to make the holes in the inner lining, you have to realize, that you have to drill around 700 holes, which is quite laborious, I probably wouldn't do it a second time...:hammerhead:

ORION MPCV

Scale: 1:72
Author: Roland Havran
Publisher: ABC, patreon

The Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (Orion MPCV) is an American manned spacecraft developed since 2006 for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) by Lockheed Martin. Orion, launched by SLS rockets, is intended to transport humans to the vicinity of the Moon and later to Mars.
Artemis II (formerly known as Exploration Mission-2, EM-2) is the second flight of the Space Launch System (SLS) and the first manned flight of Orion as part of NASA's Artemis program. The mission will see a four-member American-Canadian crew of Orion perform a test orbit of the Moon. It is the first manned mission since Apollo 17 in 1972 to go beyond low Earth orbit. The launch took place on the first attempt on April 1, 2026. (source: Wikipedia)

On April 1, 2026, I watched the launch of the Artemis II mission, and while I waited for the launch, I enjoyed cutting out parts of the ORION spacecraft, which will take people to the moon after many years...

I'm slowly continuing, the fuselage is not glued that well... but I will definitely continue... I modified the solar panels, where instead of a toothpick I glued auxiliary cardboard parts that I soaked with superglue, so these panels should keep their shape and at the same time I could cut out the air that would have to remain there if I had used toothpicks...
