Lotus Esprit Submarine from "The spy Who Loved Me"

My build will be simple and straight foreword, due to my limited tools and supplies.
I will not be doing any of the modifications that @Sky Seeker did, but, hopefully, the model will look good enough to sit on my daughter in laws shelf.

I went ahead and downloaded and printed the modified parts that @SkySeeker made, so we'll see how it turns out.

and parts cut out and preformed.

horizontal Stabs folded and glued.


Thruster tubes rolled and glued.


And thruster tubes painted edges and inside.

Now time to call it till tomorrow maybe, my hands are so stiff and hurting that I can't even fold the paper.

Was able to do a little more on this today. The hands loosened up a bit.

Glued the thrusters together and added the props..

Back painted the props...


dropped a drop of water on the man body... Arghhhh


So I printed off a new part.


And got the main body cut out and started folding.


More to come tomorrow.

Okay, so now I'm falling down the rabbit hole... Since I reprinted the parts sheet, I've cut the front and rear bumper pieces out of the old body, and made recessed tail lights, and front indicators.



Next I'm gonna cut the rear bumper pads off the old body, and make raised bumper pads.

I added the antenna an periscope as seen in pictures of the "real" one. Just cut op and folded some of the scraps.
