The Fennek (Leichter Gepanzerter Spähwagen) is a German-Dutch light armored reconnaissance vehicle with 4x4 drive, which has been in service with the army since 2003.

I started with this simpler model, which I am constantly modifying. I highlighted the details that were only drawn, added lights, added glass and rivets...

I'm currently working on wheels that I'm modifying quite a bit...Modifications:
-slightly domed tire
-added rivets
-added simplified tread, here I had to make a compromise...I first tried gluing individual parts of the tread, but that would probably drive me crazy, so I simplified it by cutting the tread lengthwise into strips and just notching it crosswise...it's still quite laborious, but I can somehow manage it...I tried gluing one wheel completely to see how it looks and I think it's acceptable for this scale...I still have 3 wheels to go.. :bulgeeye:

I made a base, printed the frame to size, then sprayed it with brown paint, made a terrain out of polystyrene, painted it all over and added rocks and sand at the end...I'll finish it off with dry grass at the end.

The next photos show how it looks in a pile...and the last photos show a few accessories - a soldier with a drone and a dog...

thanks, I'm just finishing the model, still doing the patina and details...a few more words about the additions:
-the soldier is a figure from a pack of civilian figures that I bought on the internet, I just modified its shape and painted it
-the dog is a 3D print, I managed to get a free file on the internet, I just printed 20 percent of the original, which was a bit of a problem to print (it's the German army so it had to be a German shepherd)

-the drone is made according to a picture of a diorama with a plastic model of a Fennek, which inspired me-I found 2 dioramas with this car, which I adapted the model from...

So I'm done, in addition to real photos of the Fennec, I also used a 3D model and 2 dioramas of a plastic Fennec, from which I drew inspiration and tried to get at least a little closer to these masterpieces...

I tried to adjust the details as much as possible...the machine gun is significantly modified, I added a shovel at the back. In the end, I added a patina to the entire model...
