About the Space Pirate (Groizer X), I think I'll be ahead of schedule, which makes me feel very good, for I announced about two months ago that it would take me a year to complete the task.
With the support and encouragement I have found here, I can say that I'll be up to the challenge. Let's make it happen!

If I may offer a piece of advice, try doing it in parts, not closing the disc all at once, but in steps of 10 to 30 degrees. You'll be able to have more control on the closing process, thus reducing errors.
