Try some Grey Silicon and goop all those edges. Those distractions will really disappear when you start the greebling, and there is so much that can be done on this super strong model, use the model as the canvas it is for the greebling to turn it into the model it's crying out to be When bending those thick corners, cut from the backside to give some relief then angles blend. You cut, sand, whatever method that works, to close up those seams. As I wrote earlier, they can be filled to make them disappear also. .
