The U-Wing and Tie Striker from Rogue One, A Star Wars Story...

Parts of the U-Wing painted thier base colors...
Forgot to take pics of the first step, Wings were added to lower center section with hinge pins...

I decided to build this Without the "Glass" to preserve the best view of the inside details...
Lower fuselage panels added to the lower core
And detail panels added.

Cockpit detail parts painted and installed
Crew figures painted and installed, at 1/144th these guys are tiny...then the upper fuselage panel was installed
The wind screen added
Then the engines added

Assembly complete, next will be paint and decals...

the model was gloss coated, the decals were applied and set to the surface, then the whole thing was dull coated. The panel lines were accented with a thin wash, and the recessed areas were washed to add the illusion of depth.
I like the "Lasre effects Bandai included.

The little Tie Striker was only like ten parts... Primed, painted, and details called out.
And assembled

details added with decals and paint, hand shown for scale...

The U-Wing and Tie Striker together,

And the Little Imperial Assault Tanks complete this kit... One Tank was built with the copula closed, and the other with it open and the tank commander in it... at this scale the commander was tiny...

and that completes this build... up next will be my current build...

Pic of model. It's really nice and there a huge one! Having the plastic model, you could Greeble the paper one to match.
