Andor Tie Avenger

Today I finally found the courage to continue working on the Tie Avenger.

I have to admit, this model is proving to be quite a challenge; I definitely underestimated the complexity of this design. That being said, I’ve made a fresh start and I’m actually looking forward to putting more time into it again. Following the previous test build, I am now busy adjusting the design and adding color.

The sphere and its interior are practically finished. Now, I’m going to focus my efforts on perfecting the exterior of the sphere and both the inside and outside of the rear compartment. The wings are going to take a while longer.

That’s it for my update—wishing you all a Happy Easter in advance!

At last I can show you the first pages from the template.
Lets start to show you the sphere. Lots of small pieces to glue.

And the parts for the inner sphere this is the fun part. Still need to make the handles.

The rear fuselage lots of angles and shapes to form and glue.

And the interior for the rear fuselage. lots of instrumentation.

And the front parts this is a real eye catcher.

I have to check if all parts are there then I can start building the first beta version.
Only thing left are the wings that would be not that difficult because I got the basics already done.
This is my firts model that takes a lot of time to design but I'm nearly their.
