    UFO-Intercepter

Model finished. Not suitable for beginners, you have to improvise a little now and then. Nevertheless, it turned out well. Now it's time for a break over the holidays. I wish everyone who has faithfully accompanied me in my projects a wonderful and peaceful Christmas. See you again in 2026...

Base and cockpit canopy. This model is best built with a bottle of good wine and some appropriate music—e.g., Glen Campbell... (if your wife is willing to play along...). I'll also try to make some crepes...

    A-Wing

I built a thermoforming device out of a sturdy box, and it works perfectly. Unfortunately, my plaster mold wasn't the right material for the job, and the plastic didn't turn out very clear. I then tried the traditional method, but ended up with too many glue stains. So I decided to use the...

    A-Wing

The A-wing is finished except for the front part of the hood. I tried to shape the plastic using a plaster mold and a hair dryer, but it didn't work; the plastic didn't even get properly warm. I'll probably build a thermoforming device out of wood (not that difficult), which has a connection for...

    A-Wing

Very informative video. I'm going to try it with a plaster mold.

    A-Wing

First attempts with the hood. The rear part works perfectly (bend is not yet finished). The front part does not work in the same way because the curvature does not cooperate. Therefore, I cut out the blue part from the original, placed it underneath, and transferred the cut lines to the foil...

    A-Wing

A little Greebling and the ship's cannons (very fiddly). Now all that's missing is the cockpit canopy. I will try to build it using transparent plastic film.
