    The next parts are the nose and the tail section with the attached gravity rings; these are custom-made, since there are no corresponding parts available (I’m referring to those odd “bumps”). The designer used toothpicks and lollipop sticks for this, but unfortunately these parts wouldn’t stick...

    The next small parts. I'm saving the bridge for last—it's very complicated; I've started and scrapped it three times.

    The first parts are done—boat bays, lower block, sensor mount, sensor wings, floor grilles, and sensor capsules—all reinforced with cardboard and featuring added glue tabs. Because of this, I realize the model will take longer to complete, but it’s fun.

    We'll start with these parts. The model is quite complex because the adhesive tabs are missing (you have to attach them yourself) and because of the reinforcements made of 0,039 inch (1mm) and 0.01inch (0,5mm) cardboard. It's likely to be a time-consuming project.

    Model finished. Not suitable for beginners, you have to improvise a little now and then. Nevertheless, it turned out well. Now it's time for a break over the holidays. I wish everyone who has faithfully accompanied me in my projects a wonderful and peaceful Christmas. See you again in 2026...
