Hey Sparks, If its Atlas ns and has black ties its code 100. On my layout I started with sectional track just because I had a whole box of it. Since then I have switched to code83 flex.
I ordered five switches and some other stuff from them three weeks ago, they said it was all in stock and ready to ship. Got a letter from them yesterday saying they don't have any of my order and don't know when they will. Cancelled the whole order, this was the third and last time I deal with...
Hey Casey, Nice pic., is that a Campbels model? I belive its called Campbells Supply Co., have one sitting on my layout except its red. Built it back in 1972. Keep the great pictures coming!!
I was thinking about changing the lighting on my layout also. Right know I have 4' shop lights over head. Never gave the UV rays a thought. Might just scrap them out and go with track lights with floodlights in them!!
I have 13 code 100 , and plan to buy 15 code 83 turnouts and wye's. The 13 I do have never gave me one bit of a problem!! Peco's are very nice, and so are Walters (Shinora) but for the price I'll stay with Atlas.
Hey Dave, Great start, seems like you have built decent benchwork, and have a fairly decent plan. Just remember, no matter what, its yours and you have to like it!!
Hey Charlie, After a little while here it seems that everyones layout becomes one big layout and each person has their own little spot. Its great!!!!!
Duey, I was thinking the same thing, seems like a whole lot of open space begging for track, but going with a whole lot of scenery is OK to. after all it is your layout!!
