Pete, Those are some nice pictures on your conversion. I what to install a decoder in a brass berk and I have some questions. Why did you replace the motor with a can type motor? Reduced voltage? How did you isolate the motor from the frame? Thanks, Marty

Larry, A Digitrax decoder comes set from the factory to change automatically from DDC to DC. You can change CV29 to turn that function on or off. I don't know about the other manufacturer's decoders. Marty
