Well part of the road is tar paper from roofing. Part of it is wall joint compound shaped and sanded then painted. The dirt, its real dirt. :) Just sifted down. I cant see paying all this money for dirt in a can when I can get it from my own property. Thanks for looking! :)

He we are in another month since my last post. I have some stuff to show you, some progress I guess you could say. I HATE the road stripes and those will be redone. Crossing gates and such yet to come. A LOT MORE DETAIL needs to be done. You can see some other pictures more relating to vehicles...

So, I thought I would share some of the stuff I got for my christmas gifts. I asked for these things so I could do a construction company rental yard for heavy construction. The detail is great. The equipment is all Norscot with the exception of one or two. They were all on sale and the price...

Its a simulator, a game if you will. Has nothing to do with controling model trains. :)

I didnt know that. I too have FSX pro and that is going to be one sweet thing if they use that technology in train sim 2. The pics they show own their website, Microsoft, looks great. We will have to see if that translates to the game itself or if its just pretty art. :mrgreen:
