    "Abandoned but not forgotten"

Another one is www.uer.ca. Neat site but need to be a full member to be able to see everything on it. Locations that are marked "Demolished" or "Public" can be fully accessed by even basic members.

Mystery Item -or- I don't know what this is!

Well, my wife was with me at the time and she figured $6 wouldn't break the bank. Also, we were originally planning to use it for the fire pit (thought at first it was a hand made poker) and when I was told it may have been used on the railway, I changed my mind about that. At least my wife's...

Mystery Item -or- I don't know what this is!

Hi there folks! I have this item I bought at a flea market last year and haven't the slightest clue what it is or what it was used for. An elderly gentleman suggested this may have been used on the railroad but was equally confused. The only theory I have is that this may have been used in...

    Testors plastic glue

The Testors is good stuff to work with (used it for many years).:) However, don't mix it with other glues. It just won't hold at all. I recently repaired an HO model of a boat trailer I scratch built. The seam kept falling apart when I used a liquid glue. :curse: I scraped the joint...

Teen killed by train in southwest Houston

When someone decides to take their own life, the thought of the victims left behind ceases to exist for that person as they can not think rationally anymore. I was talking to someone who claimed to be next to the conductor when a GO train hit someone two months ago. He was able to hear the...

    man cut in half

Geesh. That's one hell of a mess. I feel sorry for the folks who have the job of cleaning up. And if it is confirmed which train hit the guy initially, I feel sorry for the engineer of that train. That would be one major sick feeling.

    Be On Your Guard Against

Same here. Wife and I got skimmed earlier this year. Identity theft really sucks!:curse: :curse: Thankfully, she was checking on something else in the account and noticed the irregularity about two days after the initial attack on our account. If we hadn't acted quickly, we would have been...
