i only use atlas flex track code 100 i am new though so it works for me it is very cheap and is widly avalibal too i also use kadee couplers

i use WS foam road bed on my layout and it works better than cork in my opinion it is really cheap too. i got 5 rolls each 24 ft long for under 30$!!!!:eek:thats over 120 feet

if you want to test your mixtures than i think it would be a good idea to build a diorama base if you wanted to so you could practice ballast. what i do is i just lightly ballast, but i don't glue any of it down that way if you mess up you can just start over but thats no fun. or you could just...

i finally finish all the main line track and the engine yard. whating for more switches for the main yard. aslo for the first time i ran a train on the main line. now for the yard, diorama and the grade on the mountain.

i think i am going to pull out of this since my parents do really follow nascar either.
