Hey Metro, I think one of the best things for you to do is to start acquiring the many 'How To' books offered by Kalmbach Publishing (Model Railroader magazine). They cover everything you've always wanted to know about model railroading, but were afraid to ask....I think you can order them...

I have the MRC Tech 4 260. Works great. I got it on Ebay last year new in the box for $32, about half than my LHS....

Welcome, Dom we are always 'N'-need of aNother N-scaler :wave:....My brain is not wired for electrical stuff, but I can tell you from my humble experiences the momentum and brake functions are really cool and a lot like the real thing...I have the Tech 4 260 and love it :thumb:
