    Microscale decals for Conrail Switchers

I'm currently doing a couple of Conrail switchers - SW12 and SW15, as well as a GP15-1, but the Conrail logos on the HO MS decal sheets I have, are all too large for switchers. Can anyone tell me which decal sheet to get for the correct sized logos. I looked at the N gauge sheet but they...

Railimages going down for 'another 48 hours'

Message on Trainboard- 'TrainBoard, RailImages, and associated sites are moving to a DEDICATED SERVER and will be down up to 48 hours. This is to improve service. We'll be back ASAP!' Does this mean my SPF contribution is knackered again? Jon

    Spectrum 4-6-0 question...

Here's a copy of a possible solution I posted on the AMR Forum. How'z'about stripping everything out from inside the tender, including the coal, and mounting the decoder at an angle from front(top) to bottom(back). Then fabricate your own coal load to fill the bunker - lead sheet or tin...

    Railimages fixed

Thanks Jesper, glad you liked it. The signal tower was for a project started on the Atlas forum, to kitbash the basic Atlas signal tower kit into something different. When the Atlas forum unexpectedly closed, the project continued on several other forums, such as-...

    Railimages fixed

I recently popped over to Railimages and it seems they have fixed the picture uploading problem. They have also upgraded some of the software, so hopefully this will iron out most of the gremlins. I can now start uploading all those recent pics. Hurrah. Jon

    Mrc 2000

What Jim said. The MRC2000 is as good a way as any to get started, and if you later decide to upgrade, you can always sell it on. Jon

well guys, i think this is about it........

That's some really nice-looking benchwork there, far superior to mine. You have an excellent start, and you have already set a bunch of parameters, so you're half way there. Here's a pic of the 'whole' of my trackwork to date (two feet), after two years, so you're not alone...

well guys, i think this is about it........

If in doubt, copy someone else's. You don't have to invent the perfect layout trackplan at the first attempt, but building a layout using a published trackplan will get you started, and you will soon be modifying it to your own needs and likes. My advice to you would be to start laying...

    What is happening?

I wonder which forum you are talking about? Hmmm.... Brakie, like you I am active on 4 or 5 forums, to a greater or lesser degree, and enjoy the banter, although I get easily confused about which forum has a particular thread I'm trying to find. Jon
