Check out the picture's I posted in the Gallery. The feed store is made from a bird house pattern. The car shop was a wooden mailbox bought at the local farm supply store.

Looks good, John. What scale are you modeling? They might work well for a large scale garden railroad. I think they may be a little oversize for ho.
