Hello all, I've been digging thru my packed up stuff looking for my D&D minis, and I found this gem.
Vintage 1984 mini for the game Warhammer Quest. This is the Wood Elf WarDancer. I also found 3 of my painted figures from this same time period which I'll add picks off in this thread.

I have primed the mini with Vallejo Surface Primer Grey 73.601

This miniature is cast in pewter, not lead free pewter, but real pewter. For this reason even the mounting tab is getting primed.

Great bit of nostalgia there... especially the boxes, when they first used to do figures, they were in a plastic blister over here in England with a bit of foam to keep them from jumping about.
1984, blimey I was 14 then!
I might have some kicking about at my mothers

The blister pack was inside the box... The box holds all the cards and counters and rules to play these in the game.

Now I finally see the inspiration for the Harlequin from Warhammer 40,000k.

Thats a bad as. looking figure I like it a lot.
You should see it in game. Nothing to mess with. Knocks everything down then leaves you venerable to attack from the other Eldar force while it cuts and shoots you. Nasty piece of work.
