This is another non-canon project I got distracted with. This time its another design straight from my head, but I've gone with a TMP era ship. USS Nelson is a Resilient-class starship, a class that benefitted from the Excelsior development.

Oh, for those who couldn't tell, it uses parts from the Constitution Refit, Excelsior, and Oberth classes (the Oberth's contribution is the nacelles).
It is a nice bash and flows pretty well, I just can't seem to get my eye off the rectangular aft section, it just doesn't feel right to me.
