Howdee fans! :)

Recently I went through my old picture folders and found a build which I haven't showcased here yet. It was a one-day build in December 2014. I rescaled it to 1/48 to go with another model that is still in the works. It was just a small test to see how the vehicle is assembled, if it still can be assembled in a smaller scale and how it would look like. It turned out really nice as you will see in the course of this thread.

The subject in question is the Flight Deck Tractor from Paperdiorama.

The kit is very well designed and comes with a full interior. This is built first.

It even comes with a tiny steering wheel which I attached later in order not to break it off by accident.

The main body is very straight-forward but the smaller scale makes it a bit delicate to handle. I took my time and managed to assemble it as intended.

Now the interior was added.

Everything fits very well.

The back receives a plate:

The front section is a separate piece:

Another plate comes on top:

And the front is glued in place:

One of the most unusual design aspects of this model is the lower body. It is very compact but has many holes, so handle with care. :)

The wheels are very detailed:

It took a while to assemble them but the results are stunning.

The model went into storage for the time being. When I find it again I will paint the edges. Thanks for watching! :)
