I have spent most of the last 2 months in and out of the hospital with complications and illness that came at the worst possible time.

Chris (Rhaven) taking care of the forum, and our wonderful moderating staff, and YOU, the membership have comforted me in my darkest hours, knowing that you all are fine, going through your own trials and tribulations, but holding each other up.

I see it when I check in every day, but don't have the wherewithal to post. I still read every post on this form, every single one to feel the pulse. Chris and I talk on the phone much about this.

You all know that Chris will take and step right in when the time comes. His word on anything, as mine, is final.

Personally, I must profess the my Spirituality has been greatly solidified, the Christ, the Holy Spirit of God have been doing wonders in my body. The healing taking place is indescribable. I am in a state of elation.

Peace and love be unto every single one of you regardless of faith. this not about religions of man, but that which you know inside of you.

I'm really glad to hear you're doing better. It sounds like you've been through a very tough time.

Please take the time you need to recover. Your health comes firs.

@zathros I wish you the strength you need to fight and a good recovery.
You are always there with helpful hints, share your experience and I have the impression you really did everything (flying planes, sailing boats, making tools, doing audio equipment and the list goes on and on).
I am glad that I have encountered this forum and that I can grow and learn here with the help of people like you.

AIS has agreed to completely forgive the $14,000 dollar debt that my Insurance company illegally told me I was approved, and went out off network without my permission.

Not only did AIS forgive the debt, they told me they would pay for the medication for one year and to apply in June, and they would the forgive the debt again for a year. This company, the largest compounded drug company in the U.S in America has an outstanding record, and I think their method off doing business is why. I know they get a tax write off, but a lot of companies don't want bother, and sell the debt to some collection company, which will hound you to death.

This has been aa great blessing. Lots of prayer, and hope for the last two months has paid off. What a great day.!!

Well, I recovered YAY!!!! Then I go to the neurosurgeon, and of course, they have to go in as the pump has come somewhat loose, and they can't risk it spinning and messing the "line to the spine". An In and out procedure, total time around 3 hrs. No big deal, but it's not doing anything for 30 days that gets me. I just got my motorcycle ready and the really nice time to ride is just beginning. If all goes well, I'll still have a couple of months to ride. I have the gear to go out in the cold weather, but always seems like going to the moon or something. I don't get cold, but I'm not warm, very neutral. The rides are better when the air gets thicker. The leaves, well, if wet, you have to be very careful around them.

Is there anyone else on this forum that rides? :)

I had a motorbike (Honda XL1000v Varadero).
I could read with that bike it was a joy to ride. I loved to ride in the spring and autum. But I had to sell it because of my back pain.

My wife owned a honda vfr800 VTech o man that was a real beast. 11000 rpm! My wife didn't use the machine where it was build for. So i took some spins it gave me a big smile that VTech kucjs in like a rocket and still very slik to ride. Also this machine is gone also back pain and slipped disc.

I had to give up sailing, had to give up my pilot's license, and my back hurts when I ride, but it hurts all the time anyway. I head west and north, when I go riding. Those roads haven't changed in 40 years. They are wide, rolling with sweeping curves, and there are virtually no cars during the daytime, or on weekends. I know them well. I don't ride in congested areas. That's where people have no respect for anyone on a motorcycle, or they are just oblivious of us. I don't drive too fast, but that is kind of stretching the truth. I always do drive safe though. :cool:

My boss is riding to work regularly. I always have to look twice to recognize him with the helmet on. He"s on stealth mode - all black, even the visor. :biggrin:
