Saw this photo on Facebook. This model is plastic, but something like this could be done with paper models.

That is an interesting model. It would not be that difficult to kitbash that together with existing paper model templates.

I don't get this, is it supposed to "tie" into P.T. 109, or am I so out of touch. The model looks like it would have beet put together by scavenged parts. I like it, it looks good. Just wondering the "109" part of it.

The 109 part is for the Messerschmitt BF-109, a German WW2 fighter.
The TIE is for a Star Wars TIE fighter.

A BF-109 Cockpit glass would not hold any pressure, so space suits would be a must. I think if he went with the main wing stubs going into the tie power panels, it would be more believable, as the fuselage would need really heavy duty formers to hold them. Kit bashing is fun. I like it made in paper more than in plastic, IMHO.
