i have just started the build of the space core from portal 2, i designed the template myself and this is a first test build so there may have to be some changes
this is my progress so far

i have now made the two sides
DSC_0295.JPG i think i am going to make all of the inside bits and then wait till the end to fit these around but i am not really sure, i would like to paint the inside of these black but dont have any paint atm, tim peake's launch has made me really excited about space though so this cannot wait
 
I have no knowledge of this series but the parts look good. Maybe you could post a pic of the goal?
 
Very interesting. It reminds me of the "Heart of Gold" from the movie combined with the drone from "Oblivion". :)

Very interesting. I would look at Dan's Water forming technique before I went much further, that, or conical shapes to form the outside shell, this would give a much rounder appearance.
