Hey guys been a long while. John (Zathros) reached out to me last week and today I just got a notification that someone had purchased one of my models that i didn't even know was still up on ecardmodels.com. So, I thought I would stop back in. I'm thinking about re uploading my models to ecardmodels.com if there is any interest in them. I've lost the instructions for the XP-67 and XP-72 as well as all the jpeg format pics of all the finished models. So, if some of you guys still have those that would be helpful. Unfortunately there's nothing new in the pipeline as I'm concentrating on other projects for now.

Unfortunately all of your models were not cared for well. They can be found everywhere for free downloads. It's a problem with these models, and hobby in general. You make a model to sell, then someone uploads it's scan to one of the 100 sites that host them, and the model is lost to the wind. I think that's why most of the members here make fantastic models, with incredible build threads, then just offer them up for free. I know where to get any model that is offered for sale for free. I don't, but I know where, and I can't possibly be the only one.

I've always done this hobby for making something that can't be found anywhere else. I remember seeing 20 people making Spitfire models, and wondered "Why?".

I've found the 3D printing interesting. You could make a similar model, but unless you have the "G-Codes', it won't be the exact one. On the other hand, you do all the CAD (time consuming, if you know how to do it), and the printer does 99% of the work. Kind of boring, but neat when it's done.

I want to start making functional stuff, like hand held 5v and 12 (13.8)volt generators for back up power supplies, backing up a capacitor bank. :)
