Hello everyone! It’s been probably over 10 years since I’ve been an active member on here. I never meant to disappear, but got pulled away by life’s demands. But now my kids are moved out and have their own lives (we’re still very close though), I now work from home, and have recently been venturing back into the world of paper modeling. It’s been so long that I feel I almost need to start from scratch with my learning. I humbly beg your patience as I get back into the swing of things, and welcome any suggestions. Many of the models I was working on when I “checked out” are still there in bins, waiting for me to get back to them. I’ve been really missing this forum, it was always so wholesome, and everyone so encouraging and helpful. Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and hope to be back on here more in the days ahead.

Hello,

Please allow me to be the first one to welcome you (back) to Zealot (now Zealot Models)! It is always a wonderful pleasure having old members return. As you may see, there have a few (albeit minor) changes to the forum.

I wholeheartedly understand how "real life" issues can (and do) interrupt hobbies. I am glad to see you back.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice. Please feel free to ask and we will do what we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).

When you start a new project, I would like to encourage you to post a build thread. Build threads are a great way of show off your work and skills. Not only that, but if you run into an issue with a model you can highlight the area that you are having problems with and we can offer you some suggestions on how to deal with them.

Once again, welcome back. I hope that you enjoy yourself here. I look forward to seeing your work.

Welcome back! I'm glad to see that you are still around. Just take your time to get back into modeling. Technology have advanced but the basics haven't changed much. Happy building and have fun and enjoy! :)
