i guess im going to post my work of this one im doing in my spare time. kind of a learning experience i have over 20 pics of really cool ray guns so im gonna make some of them!

So you are using this for the basis for a paper model of the same weapon?

yes i am working on it. handle concerns me the most, but i think if i break it up into steps i can make those curves work somewhat.

You can make it easy by making the handle profile flat and add an extra layer for the texture.

I love "Retro Ray guns", there was no question that someone was going to get zapped, and they always seemed to blast the crap out of anything, or be ineffective, no in between. Great topic, and I know it will be a great model.
