A few words about the Rescue team:

A rescue team (handler with a dog) is a specialized unit designed to search for lost people in the field, rubble, avalanches or underwater. The teams help with natural disasters and search operations.
After the devastating earthquake in Venezuela, rescuers from all over the world came to help. Our rescuers also flew to the other side of the world to help search for buried people, similar to how they helped after the earthquake in Turkey. These people, but also dogs, are the real heroes of today. Since I like dogs (they have been my company practically my whole life), I will present a few stories of rescue dogs from Venezuela that I caught on the Internet.
-The first dog is Tsunami from Venezuela, who became a national hero after he and his handler Jorge intensively helped search for people in the rubble. This originally abandoned and abused dog went through rigorous training and was able to locate a total of 13 survivors in the rubble (he has already helped in Turkey, Syria... with the total number of rescued people approaching 400)
- MAX is a German Shepherd from Mexico who found 7 people and 3 dogs before being buried by rubble... (he was withdrawn from the action and is recovering at home).
-another dog cut his leg, was treated on the spot, and wanted to return to help immediately... (he was withdrawn from the action and is recovering at home).
-in the next photo is a dog who saved 3 people and then fell asleep on the rubble from exhaustion...
-in the last 2 photos you can see how many dogs are helping there...

Model:

I was looking for a firefighter-rescuer figure and I found it again at Rawen, who has a firefighter in their series of movable figures, while the dog is part of the policeman figure.
So I'm going to glue this pair together as part of a small diorama.
So far I have a dog glued together, for which I made a rescuer's sign (such as is used in Slovakia).

Service dogs, particularly rescue dogs, used in building collapses, and mass casualties, need much care. I saw a documentary around 20 years ago where they realized after every rescue, they have to give the dogs a thorough cleansing, to remove the smells the cling to their bodies, a their noses are so sensitive, the dogs were suffering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from the lingering different, sometimes not so pleasant smells on them. Fortunately, they are well taken hero now. Dogs are amazing! :)

A rescue team from the neighboring Czech Republic also has a medium-sized schnauzer in Venezuela, I always love seeing this favorite breed of mine in action,
My pet is the miniature schnauzer breed. Mine is having a hard time with the heat right now...
