Rebuilding my BRTC25 Thunder Fighter collection (with a new component)

As many of you many know, when I moved back to the US, I had to leave all of my paper models in Easter Europe (unfortunately, they were all destroyed shortly after I left). With that being said, I am rebuilding everything!!!
So as the title of this thread says, I am rebuilding my BRTC25 Thunder Fighter collection (With a new component).
I am starting with the "Stealth" MK-III Thunder Fighter.

I raised some of the panels of the engine nacelles.


(As for the new components, they will come later!)

I saw in your gallery many beautiful variations of this fighter - wonderful.
The Thunderfighter is one of the projects, which I never started until now.
Looking forward to seeing next steps and many variations of the model.

Looking nice RB. I always have mixed feelings doing a rebuild, yes, you can improve from your earlier efforts, but I also hate re-doing something I've finished!

Here is a small update.
I worked on the back end in the bottom section.

I laminated the formers to (about) 2mm.


I attached the formers.


The back section is attached.


I raised a few of the panels.


Next, I will be working on the cockpit.

I am now working on the cockpit interior. I have started with both the tub and seats (yes, this is a two (2) seater).

Here is the tub.


Here are the seats. As you can see, I have greebled the buckles and belt slides.


The seats are in place.

Here is the front lower console/joystick mount and Joystick.

I recessed the screen in the console.


The console is in place.


I used the "Pilot" Joystick.

I recessed the screens and raised the button panels.


I put the console in place.
