Yes I know I'm getting overly excited about it, but this will be my 2000th post of the Gauge - the best online model railroad forum there is!!!!

To commemorate this auspicious event, I think a nice train photo is in order.

Here's to another 2000 posts and many more years of the Gauge!!!!

Your photo is another fine example for your outstanding crafts(wo)manship - not only the beautifully weathered Hudson, but also the surroundings (ground cover, background buildings...) AND top notch photography. So thank you for all your contributions which always are stimulating to us other Gaugers!

Congrats Val. I only hope that by the time I reach 2000 or even 1000, I will have the knowledge and skill that you fine folks, (and the old timers) have. (I need to be careful on how I use the “old timers” phrase; I turned 49 a week ago.) Again, congrats and that is a fine photo!!
