New chopper bike build thread

Hi guys, thought I'd try my hand at seeing if I could make a spoked wheel for my next project while I'm still finishing up my trike. I don't know how good it will come out but we'll see. Got a lot of work done on my chopper trike today. Still have a few things to get done on it.

Interesting way you have of doing the spokes. The video below shows how to make the most accurate motorcycle spokes that I know of. Most are a variation of this method. Nice thing is that the jig can be used over and over. ;)

What?! Are you saying you don't like the way I DID MINE??!! WHAT THE HELL!!!! Heh-heh, just kidding! Yeah I like the video you provided in showing how to make them, I just wanted to see if I could do it my way and see if I could make it at least half way passable.

Looks really great!! The wheels, front and rear, the gauges, and the headlight look particularly good.

I like the way you do your spokes. For a heavy bike, they look great. They came out fantastic.

The video I posted, using a jig is the best way to do smaller bikes that have much finer spokes, and he jib allows you to apply tension, so the rims are held up like a real bike, as they are under stress. You bike spokes looks great, as they fit the bike. :)

Thanks brother, I didn't know if I'd be able to make one on the first try but you never know until you do try.

I was wondering, is it possible to attach a video on here as a separate file, or would I be able to put a link on here like say if I wanted people on here to see a YouTube video?
