Hi all, just though I'd share my build diary of Imcold's 1/48 scale X-Wing. Feel free to comment.:thumb:

Finally again an Xwing :-)
Looks great...and that size...so damn small..
I build it a little bigger and had enough problems with all those small parts..
So you are gonne have :-) more little problems :-)

And you build with lightspeed...damn you are going fast...

ill be watching you :-)
 
Thanks dnalor, had a look at your one. By God it's good. Would love something of that size, but I don't thing the divorce would be worth it.
 
You are doing an OUTSTANDING job on this project.

looks great...nice droid plate..
are you greebleing also the nose section?
But i think that you forgot a piece..or you still have to glue it in..
it's inside of the folding mechanics...(see pic).

Thanks dnalor, but noticed that myself last night and rectified immediately. Was wondering why the wings tended to 'flap' until I noticed the extra part lying around. Curses were voiced that little ears should not hear, I tell you. I seem to learn more from imcolds pictures than his instructions throughout the build. Again thanks, and any more advise would be greatly appreciated.

yip...i builded also with much help from the pictures..
But i also asked Imcold also for help.
For the engine and fuselage the instruction are perfect..

But when you've got questions just ask...maybe i still know it :-)
 
I'm partially to blame here, I forgot to make the instruction diagram for this wing-holding section (and no one complained about it) - sorry about that! I will look at it tomorrow.
