my (a bit too colorful) Tu-144 PaperModel

Hey guys!
I was in a bit of a creative slump, and I decided to make something straight out of my old "eye spy" books, and I kid you not that was the inspiration. Its a 100% scratch-build, made from construction paper. It was honestly SO fun making it, and my favorite part was how the wing roots smoothly blend in with the fuselage towards the back.

I know models exist, but I've never seen that plane modeled. The U.S. government paid to have one of those aircraft made ready for flying. It cost a fortune, but we loaded it up with a lot of test equipment. It was a successful flight. The Soviet Union only flew that air craft over Soviet soil. We underhandedly did the same thing with the A90 Orlyonok. It was a CIA shell company, stating they were interested in co-production for an "wing in ground effect airline". Imagine doing 500 miles an hour 60 feet off of the water, with the capability of (at a great fuel cost) climbing to 10K feet. If you had a problem, you would just land on the water.

After the tests, which were all successful, the Russians sat there twiddling their thumbs, waiting and before long realized that they had been snookered. I have modeled this aircraft, but it is such a difficult build, I never released it.

A close friend went to Moscow''s Hydrodynamic Offices, purchased a full size copy of the blueprints. It cost him a fortune to have them reduce, and it still was over 300 mbs., and sent me a copy of the Blueprints. That bureau is now closed. I promised him I would never share the blueprints.
