I found this by accident: A Moonbase Alpha Basic Construction set model in the SketchUp Warehouse:

This enables you to fabricate moduar walls and equipment to build your own Moonbase Alpha diorama. SketchUp is required and you have to check and unfold the parts before printing, of course.

This thread has me thinking about the possibilities of making the Moonbase Alpha figures (like I did for both BSG & BRTC25). I will have to get caught up on a few other projects, first.

I'm unfolding the pieces by now. There are several wall elements which are designed as plates. I'll add some basic slots to the sides and a plate at the bottom so that the elements can stand and be joint together.

I guess this means, I should design the figures for this. What scale/s are you unfolding this set in?

1/18 seems appropriate because it can be scaled up and down without loosing too much quality of the bitmap graphics. The slot system I have in mind is pretty straight forward and easy to apply. It requires extensive laminations. However, the big advantage is you won't need to measure anything; all you need to do is to follow the template and use the same card for laminating on all of the parts.
