Sorry, you are completely wrong. THIS is how a shrink ray looks like. Ray, as in BEAM, aka photonic Pym particles. They are emitted by a shrink ray device which is powered by a-----

I obeyed the "showing, not telling" rule. For a moment I got distracted and was about to tell, but then I got my things together again and stopped before I spoiled vital information.
That was "the other" device, developed by a shrink who called himself "Ray". The expression on his face clearly shows the insanity of his character, shaped after years of listening to other people's complaints and needs. He found that the problems of people grew with their size until they would become unsolvable. So the only way to prevent this was to make people smaller again. What he did not consider was the fact that the smaller size gave them more space for even more problems and complaining. Still figuring out what happened to him. It's pretty difficult because one day he turned himself into a tiny footnote.This is the ONLY SHRINK RAY MACHINE!!!
