La Mille Maglia Porsche Hardcore motorcycle design 1/6 scale

Thank you all for your complimentary comments.

I'm going to have to put the rest of the build on hold for a few weeks because I've just been diagnosed with a corticonuclear cataract, and I'm going to have surgery on my left eye tomorrow, followed by my right eye a few days later.

I'm adding my latest module, the rear tire, which is huge compared to the front tire.

The model is available in motorcycle resources and comes in 8 different colors.

When I get back, I'll give you a tutorial on how to mount the tire and the entire wheel.
à bientôt...
see you soon...

Best wishes for an uneventful and successful surgery.
;)

Toutenkarton I have eye issues, and now they can be really taxing. I am a person of faith and will say a prayer for you, as I am sure many others in the forum will also. :)

I'll join Z in adding you to my prayers.... My wife had this surgery on her left eye, and then broke her ankle and was hospitalized for a month, now trying to get the right eye scheduled.

WOW! This is looking fantastic!:bowdown::bowdown: And you're doing it with cataracts to boot. :surprise::surprise:
Will certainly pray for you and your surgery.1746827922540.png

A very interesting build, I do hope all goes well for your operation, and hopefully will give you the vision to carry on

Hi everyone,
The eye surgeries went well.
My distance vision is perfect, but for near vision, I have to wait for new glasses so I can build again, not before the end of June.
That's par for the course glad to hear that all went well! :)
Looking forward to seeing you finish this project.:)

I'm facing both lens replacement due to cataracts, and I tell you it scares the sh*t out of me.

I'm so very happy you are doing well. :)

CONGRATUATIONS!!! :BRAVO:

Don't be afraid. All wrinkles you will see after surgery have aready been there before.

Kidding aside, I know many people who say that they gained a whole new quality of life after the replacement. They are able to see the colours as they are supposed to be seen and details like single leaves on a tree or bricks on a wall. The first weeks require some special care but they will tackle only one eye at a time. :)

Ironically, I still have 20/20 vision with glasses on, it's only at night I see a little stars instead of round headlights. Not a lot, but enough to know I do need the surgery. ;)
